Our Story
The Panther City Quartet is comprised of four classical musicians with a passion for both classical and contemporary string quartet performance. As you might guess from our name, we are based in Fort Worth, Texas- otherwise known as "Panther City."
With 70+ years of collective music performance experience, our members have played stages ranging from Carnegie Hall to the local pub, and we are passionate about bringing music to the masses. Whether you are looking for upscale classical music or face-melting electric rock arrangements, we can fit the bill!
We've grown a dedicated following for our regular appearance at the University of Texas Arlington Planetarium, which hosts a unique live music series where artists perform under spectacular visuals projected on the 60 foot digital projection dome.
The Panther City Quartet is: Joey Tullis (violin) Dan Stevens (violin), Juan Diego Vega Ordoñez (viola), Kasey Dixon (cello). Other musicians may join on rotation.
